C3, C4, CAM

C4 and CAM plants are different when the carbon fixation occurs. The C4 pathway consumes 30 ATP for the synthesis of one molecule of glucose. CAM, C4, and C3 all have the same photosynthetic functions. CAM and C3 plants are similar when they perform their light-dependent reactions at the same times. The chemical reaction of CO2 accumulation is similar to that of C4 plants, but in CAM plants CO2 fixation and its assimilation are separated temporally rather than spatially.
